THE HALF A CUP TYPE OF BUSINESS MODEL

When we look at the way we could utilize our business we think sales, profit, and margins…maybe a little visual for our customers to get their attention IF there is time to make room for that. Most businesses do not realize that the biggest value you can add to your business is attraction. How we get to that attraction and why or why not is about to be explained in this next section.

THE FULL PICTURE

Now to explain from the half-a-cup model, businesses usually look at design only in one direction and that is to have a logo and that is it. Businesses DO NOT see what their brand can be more of in order to attract more people. Money is always on the table but consider this a proper investment into your identity as a business. It is like going to the hardware store and only realizing you needed to turn around for all the items you need to make that house project work and to be functional. This in a sense is the same type of method for design. If you only invest into one item like a logo it will only take you so far.

SO DO OR DO NOT

But what about money? What if I only need one item at this time? These are all good questions to ask. Again, it is an investment. It is saying how much is your business worth and how much do you want to see it attract people to curate profit? This is the big question you have to ask yourself when it comes to your business. Only you know what you are worth and your value is. Sure work ethic and dedication makes the dreams come true. When it comes to a campaign, branding, or a website your business will create more value to offer besides recycling a logo on merchandise twenty times.

MAKE WORK THEIR FAVORITE

Take your business and create an experience for them. When this happens and your business has a visual reputation it will make a lasting memory for them to return back. I‘ve been able to notice that for the people that have worked with LDC and it is well worth it. Making a unique and impactful visual goes a long way and it draws the customer’s attention back to something that is comfortable and unforgettable. Look at the bigger picture when investing into your business. See the margins that it could fill by attracting those you weren’t expecting.
